Would you date a transexual person?

I'm looking at my life and would like some views from you all. We have a rare common connection in our life's so I'd like to see what it shows up. So in general would you consider dating a transexual? (Perfectly okay to say No by the way)

If you did what would you expect? (eg is a fein to be so female that he becomes a sissy or bour who is so butch that they lead the relationship)

I know that it a generalisation and not always how coupels work even if its like in our community where people more or less stick to their gender roles.

Would you date someone that feels they are the opposite sex regardless of how they dress? Is it firstly the physical you look at or is it the emotional type (manly man/ girlie girl) that draws you in.

Not sure. Gender is a very unusual thing. If i liked the personality it would be a place to start from. I like men though so a male form and attributes are what does it for me. I guess bisexual emn would be interested. what i think is important though is that you know that there IS someone out there for you who wont mind your past or whate ver shape thatw as in but wants you and your future. i hope uour okay

No I dont think it would be for me. Like jonnie i like men so i like men to be men, seeing as your a girl inside and want to change that it wouldnt really click with me. Id say most travellers even after ya have your change (if your gonna do it) would find it difficult as pepole talk. Its a tricky place to be with both feet in two camps. Though like jonne said your probbaly some bisexuals dream date!

Yal get there though as with oms and talking with ya in the past your a geneune person and the heart is as blind... doubt itl be too long

There are physical differences between the male and female of the species, but what it means to be a man is entirely conceptual when speaking in terms of gender. There are no transexuals because gender is a myth.

Anyone who consider themselves a woman should refer to themselves as woman and vice versa.

Personally with all due respect I think that there is simply no need for unnecessary surgery (for those that opt for it) as that is basically just narcissism.

Gender and sex are complex issues and many think its along the lines of accessory worn and the physical body. My sense of femininity isn’t based on clothes or style nor is my want of being a woman. Essentially I do not feel or find my physical body genitalia i.e. correspond with my sense of personal being.

TG/TS vary greatly as do our reasons behind why we sense a belonging to a "gender".
