As we all know discrimination is rampent in Ireland, as views of vice against travellers seems to be among the most socialy acceptable form of hate. Last weekend while with friends I was refused entry into a gay club after the bouncer checked my id - im of age, have no criminal record, I work, pay taxes and live a very quite life... I'm still more then annoyed about it all especially as being a gay club they should very well know how wrong discrimination is.
The words (after obviously noticing my Surname) that really dug into me were "You should really be travelling on now lad" while pointing into the street... very frustrating.
Anyone else have any similar experiences?
