Rabbit Dinner


Ive had this a good few times. when ya come back from hunting with the dogs it doesnt take too much effort r time and it tastes good! I think the rabbit is better then the hair but they both work well with this. not sure why some traveller guys dont like to cook food as its not girlie at all anyways here it is

Ingredients :

Three lb of rabbit cut into pieces.
Four onions roughly sliced.
Two handfuls of mushroom caps.
Five carrots sliced.
Five sliced potatoes.

Method:

Put rabbit, sliced onions in large kettle.
Cover with water.
Bring to boil, move pot to a cooler ring or away from the centre of the fire.
Let it simmer gently for around two hours without stirring.
Add carrots, onions, mushrooms, and potatoes.
Leave covered, until vegetables are tender.
Serve

This recipe should feed five people.
