My name is Emily, and I'd like to clarify that I'm not a member of the Travelling Community. I am a gay University student. I'm writing a novel about the experiences of LGBT members in the Travelling Community, inspired by a friend of mine who is one. I don't want to misrepresent your culture in anyway, which is why I'm posting here, rather than just going off what I know. As a Settled person, I don't want to accidentally include any prejudice or anything like that.
