LGBT Traveller - Research report presentation

Hello all!

On Tuesday, 18 June at the upcoming Traveller Drug Network meeting Ciara Dempsey from the Tallaght Travellers Community Development Project will present the findings of the LGBT Traveller Health Research at the Pavee Point that she conducted as part of the Clondalkin Traveller Development Group’s Primary Health Care Project.

Additionally, an informal panel of members of the Traveller community will speak about their experiences of being LGBT.

With many of the LGBT Pavee members actively involved in the study I would strongly recommend that if possible, people attend, after all it is a topic and meeting that may indeed have an empowered consequence on future policies and programmes.
