PostSubject: Really woried   Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:44 am

Hi guys. The last while iv being very stressed out. As most of ye know im married well gettin a divorce and have children. Im still working though accepting that im gay. Part of me still hates who I am becose of it and with teh way things are i realy dnt want to come out. A little while back i had a bit of trouble with a guy knowing who i am but got that finishd up prety quikcly, thing is tho its not the only one. Last summer i was talking to a old friend who isnt a traveller but we grew up beside each ohter and I basically told him I was gay thinking he would be fine with it. Truth be told i always suspcted he was too. I told him in a way but the words “Im gay” never came out of my mouth.
Thing is ever since then he's being using it over me making me do work for him and stupid things like always gettin the rounds in or yesterday toppin up his petrol. He says if I don't he'll tell everybody that I'm gay. What should I do? I'm just so sick of my life.Talked with the guys behind this site and theyv being really helpful but i want more suggestions and thoughts from ye too as some of ye might of experience it too.

I think that's a first class case of homophobia. I bet he knows on which side his bread is buttered! Wink )

A woman I know considers homophobia a disability. Other people have theories about it. Some of this worlds homophobes have come out in their latter years. We're raised homophobic so it's no wonder some of us make mistakes too, that’s OK. But homophobic bullying is NOT OK ...

If I understand homophobia as an illnes, is it an emotional disability or impairment of some sort? It certainly is a scourge for the queer communities. Look at what it's doing to members here and there

Homophobes are the ones who should be outed. What is their problem? I feel sorry for homophobes in some ways. What a horrible life to live filled with so much hatred? How can someone be so angry about the way someone else loves? They call us 'queer'!

"Do people harbor more negative feelings toward LGBT people than they do toward people of specific races or ethnicities? According to the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology, the answer is yes."

Call him a homophobe and see how he likes it. Homophobe and proud - shame on you.

Queer and proud - well done. It only comes with the love and support of friends and families, and sisters and brothers and 'sisters' and 'brothers'.

Take it gently on the path brother
