Saint Brigid, who's feast is celebrated on the 1st of February and who's emblem is that of the cow, is a patron of Ireland and travellers, as well as milk maids and those in search of understanding, which in Shelta can be known as 'Bog astúrt gr?ni' that of ' To take in the known'.
