anyone got any of the old ways to get rid of nightmares?

"old ways" i really like that sayin and think its one of the nicer pavee sayings.

Okay got a few.

Dont have shoes near the bed prob best outside the room coz this is supposed to invite your spirit to walk at night.
Eat half an onion raw to keep away bad spirits and give the 2nd half to the fairies. they wont trouble ya after that.
say a prayer to saint antony to find nice dreams for you.
tie a brown scalulars to the bedpost (not sure why its supposd to be the brown ones and not any of the other ones)
say yur prayers and dont forget your dead family. a cusion of mine always told me when i was younger to say a prayer for em its easy to forget em but its best not too. our guilt or sometimes them if they need rest throw us bad dreams so not to forget em again lol

good stuff there! Also watch what your eating... nothing like some junk food to unsettle the body before sleep

its also best to not have electric appliances on in your bedroom for at least an hour before sleep and certainly not during sleep as it disturbs the spirit and interferes with the natural flow of energy. Also dont sleep with curtains closed as this blocks the sun's energy from waking you naturally in the morning. I do this and it really works, I rarely need my alarm and feel a lot more energised in the morning.
